Ooh noted for the next time I head through #Balingup!

#3GoodThings #food edition

Feeling a little down and need to brighten myself up before I go to a friend’s morning tea.

- when I say morning tea, I mean palatial sugar fest. It’s actually a fundraiser for her family back in PNG, but also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with people I haven’t seen for a while.

- we made gifts baskets of local gourmet products for Christmas, and this morning I was able to add in German gingerbread spice from the lovely Will, our town’s artisan sourdough maker

- yesterday we had a delicious lunch in the next town over (Mr Fosters, #Balingup, if you’re in #WesternAustralia and heading south for holidays), can not recommend the food highly enough and the proprietor Brian is a real treat

Found these hiding in my photo library and they looked like Psilocybe subaeruginosa. Not having taken them myself, a reverse search identified them as being from newspaper articles on ‘magic mushroom’ harvesting in the Southwest town of Balingup

The motorcycling in #WesternAustralia is glorious today.
Roads are basically empty, just a few trucks around.
The weather is perfect.
Riding from #Dunsborough to #Nannup, then #Balingup, before doing a loop to look at a couple of campgrounds.
I'll see if I can get some photos later.
