KHALID AL-JAFLA AND ANDREI RUDNITSKI WIN THE JORDAN BAJA
Emirati Khalid Al-Jafla and his co-driver Andrei Rudnitski managed to pass the Portuguese pairing of João Ferreira and Filipe Palmeiro to snatch a dramatic victory on the last 185.30km stage of the Jordan Baja in spectacular Wadi Rum.The 38.5-second win for the Taurus T3 Max driver gave him maximum points in the Challenger category and set up the prospect of a thrilling showdown with Eduardo Pons at his home event in the UAE at the end of the month.Al-Jafla said: “We pushed today as much as we could to try and win the stage. Yesterday, we only lost 3.5 seconds.
