Hi #Bread #Bakers out there.

I'm making my version of a #Baguette today, which while very nice and the nearest thing I've managed to produce to the real thing only really resembles a true baguette in shape and colour.

Do any of you have a #Recipe or method that you use to produce a domestic version that gets close?

Three rolls and a small baguette

I fed my old dough (3 weeks in the fridge) twice and added a couple of grams of dried lievito madre.

After a couple of hours on the counter the dough spent the night in the fridge.

Quite happy, but my lame needs a new edge

Gestern abend angesetzt, heute morgen nach der kalten Gare hergestellt und abgebacken: Medium-size Baguettes.

Diesmal als Beilage zum Grillen nachher.

Ja, genau. Wenn man sein Erwerbsleben hinter sich gebracht hat, kann man auch mal mittwochs den Grill anschmeißen. 🙂

I.e., a thin loaf could be baked much faster.
