petes_bread_eqn_xlsI want to re-read Bag of Bones but I’m put off by the guy’s relationship with the mother of the girl he saves.
Otherwise the book is appealing. I love that he solves the infanticide mystery and that he realizes his late wife solved it first. I love the small town details. I love the melancholic slow burn.
But the romance is weird, without even mentioning the sex dream about his dead wife + a long-dead singer + the (alive) young woman he just met.
