to a grad student with class
because he called read(2)
on 17 megs of buffer-oo.

He came by to complain
and shot back with disdain
that his program worked fine
that 17 is as good as nine.

I asked "Why's that so?"
And he said "I don't know!"
So he kept the B+ after all.
