I continue to use my Gopro Hero 8 for wider angle shots and as a backup. It is attached to the Nauticam housing with a Sealife Cold Shoe Mount.

My Old Underwater Camera Set-Up

Before 2020, I used a Sealife camera for primary photographs and captured video with a GoPro. I typically used the Gopro Hero 8 Black during the day and the Gopro Hero 4 Silver at night or on macro focused dives.

The picture above shows my old Sealife and Gopro Hero 6. After the image was taken, I upgraded to the Gopro Hero 8. The above photography was taken while scuba diving off the Oman Aggressor by Shaker Mohamed, Cruise Director.

When shooting smaller subjects, I used Backscatter’s Flip Filters 55mm +15 MacroMate Mini and a Gopro. I do not use this combination since I purchased the Panasonic GH5. For lighting, I typically use two (2500 lumen) video lights which has remained constant between the old and new systems.

Ich habe momentan enorm viel Spam-Backscatter, also Mails von seriösen Leuten, die mir schreiben, daß sie den Spam, den ich ihnen geschickt habe, erst nach ihrem Urlaub lesen können.

Geht das anderen auch so?

Recently, I'm receiving lots of #backscatter #spam from #Google mail servers.

However, they are not addressed to me. Instead, they seem to be addressed to some address at a domain hosted by Google and being redirected to me (?!)

Is anybody else #selfhosting their #mailserver noticing this? Can I somehow prevent Google from accepting my address as a target for redirection?

@paco To me, the main advantage of operating my own #email system is that I'm free to configure my inbound #MX so that it outright rejects "crap" (containing #malware or hitting a certain #spam score). With abusive mail, there's no way to reject anything once it was accepted, as this would mean #bounces, and therefore #backscatter.

BTW, you can allow your users to do a lot of interesting filtering stuff using #sieve (and manage-sieve). But probably not what you described here. 😞
