I'm still on the hunt for bird-in-redbud photos. The photo of the downy woodpecker was taken during one of the few sunny moments yesterday.

Bonus: Chivalry is not dead! The male cardinal was finding seeds under the feeder to bring to the female. (A bit blurry because of cloudy, rainy conditions.)

I like the combination of a bird with the redbud flowers. So far, the redbud tree is just barely getting started.

The #hummingbirds are back, or at least one of them, this male ruby-throated that came by last week and has been spotted a few times since. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of them here as their annual #migration north proceeds.
