Can't call Garmin for a quote on a replacement -- their published phone numbers are useless. And I haven't been to the only official Casio service center in the entire Luzon to have them take a look at my old #BabyG. 🤷♀️ #Philippines

No such thing. I'd have to call a number, they'll charge ₱₱₱*, then send a replacement*. What a waste. 🤨 #tech
Their #VivosmartHR lasted ~10年 before showing defects. #VenuSq2 lasted just 2 年. Do I really want another?
My plain #Casio #BabyG #solar is a li'l old for wear, but still alive after 15 years. Never needed repairs or battery replacement. No ❤️👣🚲 tracker though. Hmm... 🤔 🛍️?

Lord Alan of Chaol GhleannI picked up this #Casio BGD-5000 on #Vinted for @Babajaga and only paid £30. It’s in great condition and I realised it was a JDM model when I tried looking up the module instructions and could only find them in Japanese!
Looking online, there’s not many of these available for sale (a couple on eBay for $100+).
Some Casio watch displays suffer from poor viewing angles (including my one) but this little watch can be viewed easily from almost every angle.
