There is no genocide in Palestine and anyone asserting as much is promoting hatred. I'm sure you're distressed about that, right? And can understand how that affects people who actually are impacted by a conflict?
I couldn't be at NBPy and was looking forward to the talks from a distance. I saw this, with no context, and thought that a room full of smart people were like you β ready to look past this form of bigotry.
I'm glad it was clear in the room. And I guess horrible people really do self-identify, if you lack the empathy to see why this image can be hurtful.
