Anyone else using an iGPSPORT BSC100S bicycle computer?

I recently applied the suggested firmware update, and now the clock regularly resets to 1 hour slow, the GPS is dodgy (showing up to 4km/h when stationary, and missing chunks of the ride), and having occasional problems downloading a ride to the app on my phone.

#iGPSPORT support say it's all my fault, I don't know how to set the time zone, I need to uninstall and reinstall everything, reboot my phone etc.
