Nice long drive today, some light #boat maintenance done but a little less than I'd hoped.

Curious case today. My boat (that I'd worked hard cleaning a couple of weeks back ready for varnishing) was covered in a thin layer of white dust, probably result of someone sanding GRP or paint nearby..

Bloke next to us today was sanding, so it's probably his dust, but.. in between using his electric sander, spewing dust everywhere.. he was also varnishing! why was he defeating his own work???!

I am used to the floor moving as I walk around the boat. I have no trouble.

I also have no trouble on land.

Currently, the boat is on land, getting its hull blacked. As I move around the boat, I find my body automatically adjusting for floor movement that isn't happening—which is slightly unbalancing.

Aren't bodies amazingly adaptable?
