The (BLF) has claimed responsibility for attacks in , , and that allegedly killed two Pakistani soldiers and a military intelligence agent.

According to the statement, two soldiers were killed in an IED blast on the Awaran–Lasbela highway near and on February 8. Another attack targeted a forces’ checkpoint in Kharan on February 18. On February 15, the group claimed it killed an alleged intelligence informant, identified as from , in Gwadar.
