To further my quest to convince everyone (well, at least psychologists and neuroscientists) that "just enough" #BIDS (@bidsstandard) can be very good for dataset management, I wrote a pair of blog posts; the first is https://mvpa.blogspot.com/2026/05/just-enough-bids-1-introduction-and-six.html; a combined pdf version is at https://osf.io/w7zkc/files/aqsg3
If you prefer to listen to me talk about BIDS, there's a recording at https://osf.io/w7zkc/files/ycgd3
BIDS stands for Brain Imaging Data Structure, and is probably still most widely used for human #fMRI data. But it's also great for organizing behavioral, #EEG, and other datasets, too. Data sharing, quality control, analysis, etc. is so much more straightforward when you know where to look for the data (and what format to expect).
