Zaviera Evans is the IT Security Analyst for Flexjet in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, she performs the major Governance, Risk, and Compliance tasks including drafting and processing all information security policies, overseeing the user security training, completing vendor risk assessments, and implementing the compliance process.
Zaviera holds a Master’s Degree in Cyber Security from Utica College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Management from Ohio University and is currently attending WGU to obtain a second Master's degree in information assurance.
She is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Kappa Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. She is a contributing member and mentor for Women in Cyber Security. She native of Cleveland, Ohio where she resides with her husband, James Evans, who is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, Cleveland Alumni, their four daughters, their 2-year-old grandson, and their two dogs.

Stephen is a SOC Supervisor at a reputable bank in Ghana, where he leads and manages the Security Operations Centre (SOC) analysts. He has over 7 years of experience in the cybersecurity field and holds a master's degree in digital forensics and cybersecurity, as well as certifications in CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cisco Cyber Ops Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer(MCSE), Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), among others.
He is also an active and influential member of the cybersecurity community, serving as the Ghana Location Ambassador for Blacks In Cybersecurity Headquarters, Inc. He has won multiple awards, both local and international, for his creativity, excellence, and contributions to the cybersecurity space.
He is passionate about learning new technologies, sharing best practices, and mentoring aspiring cybersecurity professionals.

A native of Greene County Alabama, Dr. Ed Pearson III is an Assistant Professor at Alabama A & M University in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Alabama A & M University and his Ph.D. from Mississippi State University.
Dr. Pearson is the director of the Cybersecurity Outreach, Research, and Education Lab (CORE) at Alabama A & M University. Dr. Pearson’s research combines both cyber/information security and human-computer interaction with an emphasis on social engineering and phishing attacks.
Dr. Pearson currently is one of the founding members of the HBCU Data Science Consortium, where he serves as president of the executive board.
