Whenever anyone suggests Amazon - especially in local stores - my response is increasingly:

”I try not to support billionaires!”

Anything to add to my list of alternatives?
1) Buy locally from stores like #AceHardware, #staples
2) Online electronics from #BHPhotoStore, #Crutchfield
3) Directly from company websites

Maybe more questionable:
#Walmart - Are they better than Amazon?
(see last post & ⬇️)
#NewEgg - electronics
#bestbuy - improving?

Walmart vs. Amazon: A Study in Corporate Ethics and Transparency - Global Business & Economics Journal

Walmart and Amazon illustrate contrasting corporate ethics in a politically charged climate. As Walmart embraces transparency, Amazon's strategic alliances raise questions about its commitment to accountability and human rights.

Global Business & Economics Journal

@mason I feel this in my bones & work diligently to NOT use Amazon.

Here's my alternatives:
1) Buy locally from independent stores like #AceHardware
2) Online electronics from #BHPhotoStore, #Crutchfield or #staples

Maybe more questionable:
#Walmart - are they better than Amazon? (serious question)
#NewEgg - electronics
#bestbuy - improving?

Even with all this - Amazon is often the cheapest & easiest alternative for many... good luck with convincing people to not shop there.
