Oh! That reminds me of something I caught #Bell Canada doing this weekend. They now have an AI listen in to their agent's conversation with you, and the AI passively retrieves the answers while the agent is giving you that personal touch they're compelled to keep your business.

Replete with all the usual faults of crappy speech-to-text, and flavoured with the best gaslighting budget models will afford you in 2025.

Told them to eff off the moment I realized what was going on.

I'd rather not say *how* I caught them doing that... I don't want to give them the opportunity to hide better.

Hasn't anyone exposed this practice yet? It frankly blindsided me.
