The two strongest wind gusts I could find today in the #BC #LowerMainland/Metro #Vancouver area were just a shy over 105km/h (65mph) at #PointAtkinson and atop the #AlexFraserBridge— Most other areas topping betw/ 50-80km/h.

SE winds gusting to 90km/h xpctd in the warned (red) areas Fri nite - Sat AM.
SE winds gusting to 80km/h xpctd in the stmt (grey) areas Fri nite - Sat AM.

From ECCC: A frontal system will move across the South Coast tonight bring a period of brief, but strong, gusty winds to the region. The strongest winds will begin near midnight and end by early Saturday morning.
