iirc, #BCCons were established by (probably illegal) USD pumped into propaganda faux news and social media campaigns. There was a lot of splashy cash cached **somewhere**.
Which is likely what the fighting is really about. Now the top Gunn is in Ottaway with the CPC banner overhead, the taps have likely been shut off.
A game of he said, they said. BC Conservative Party and board say leader John Rustad has been removed, Trevor Halford appointed interim leader.
Rustad insists he is not going anywhere and the move is against the party constitution.
BC politics is always entertaining.

So I am morbidly curious about what happened in Kelowna with the #BCCons.
What information is known about the process suggests the entire review was … conducted in a manner to achieve a predetermined result.
About 16% of the party membership apparently voted; less than ⅙. Or, at least, that is how many votes were tallied.
But Elections BC has made clear they have little or no involvement in such party activities. Parties may determine all these details.

The parties of the BC assembly legislative must do their job already and agree on passing the single transferable vote through. Enough of first-past-the-post giving all the power to fascists or neoliberals in North America. While failing to meet the needs of everyday people.

@pinhman The "conservative" name didn't always stand for these things, but as of Reform's federal takeover, & as Tea Cup & MAGA & other photo-fascists have taken over so-called conservative parties, there is no home left for the rare people (perhaps Sturko is among them?) who might actually be traditional "conservatives." They invited awfulness in &, like the Republicans to the south, have only themselves to blame. Ugh.

October 20, the day after the election and the day Elections BC announced the Initial Count, 338 gave the #BCCons a 19% chance of forming a majority government, and a 9% chance of forming a minority government.
#BCNDP have 2 seats with automatic recounts; the Cons have 1 which could be reviewed. The automatic reviews have a less than 13% chance of overturning. The Judicial review has a less than 5% chance.
That math doesn't work to 19%. Ever.

M Clark is involved in Aaron Gunn's take-over of the #BCCons, and presumably at least the other two false-flag conservative parties in #NBPoli and #SKPoli to take over "Conservative" provincial politics.
For any #CPC / big 'C' Conservatives, watch your provincial party. This is a billionaire's take over, with a 'take no prisoner's' approach - possibly $$ backed by #RU.
