The #OS1337 [website](https://os1337.com) has been updated.
- We moved from #UbuntuMono to #B612Mono because the #B612 font family is licensed under SIL OFL and #Ubuntu's fonts have their own licenses.
- Also B612 is a *superior font* given that #Airbus got it designed, tested, and certified for *Civil Aviation Use*, which means it got extensive testing under harsh conditions.
Aesthetically, it's not much different!
Happy Saturday!
Designing Safety-critical #interface s entails proving the #safety and operational #usability of each component.

It lead #Airbus to engage a group of designers to create a special #truetype #font, called B612. You can use #B612 for free:

@StephenTallentyre this B612 font has a humanist quality to it.... no surprise there, humanist fonts are very readable. BUT....there a some brutal incisions, dunno if i'd use it as a display font.... eg. in a massive title.
would be interesting to compare to #fira and #ruluko. last i checked ruluko only had a regular, no bold or even italic, so #B612 wins there!
surprised that a european-made font site has goog javascript tracking on the page, but thanks for the share. i dont access goog or m$haft servers.
tell me if the site ever links to an independent forge and drops that goog tracker.... i'll boost. thanks.
