Yesterday I learned [1] existence of sashiko.dev, which provides AI reviews for kernel patches, thanks to @monsieuricon 's awesome b4 reivew feature.

Today I added new hkml features [2] for showing the AI review on hkml. It can be used interactively (hkml list -> open menu -> 'handle as patches' -> 'show sashiko.dev review') or from command line (hkml patch sashiko_dev <msgid>).

It was possible only owing to the awesome b4 source code. Huge appreciation to @monsieuricon for b4 development! Of course, great thanks to sashiko.dev developers!

#b4 seems to be on a really good path to be _the_ tool you want to have for reviewing in an email-patch based workflow. I think it looks awesome!

@swanson #M42 and #PL / #B4 (and maybe #P6) are the most adaptable mounts there are because they are for full-frame (or in case of P6: Medium Frame) SLRs that inherently have a huge distance between glass and sensor/film and thus enable simple adapters.

  • As for targeted bodies: #m43 (micro-4/3s) is the best option with C(s)-Mount coming in behind if you are on a tight budget.

Simply because #MFT has sufficient pixels for DCI-4K but nit too many to let less-sharp #glass look like ass.

  • And yes, one can really get some awesome vintage lenses for not much money, like some GDR-made 200mm f/4 with 19 blades for excellent bokeh and perfect portraits!

Re-reading #email patch workflow stuff and the #b4 and #publicinbox docs and ... maaan... that is the only true way of developing software together in large teams.

I mean, I don't care for your 5 person project, do what you want.

But for large projects, that really is the only way to develop that truly scales.

Maybe, just maybe, #radicle can become the second way of doing that. Right now, it clearly is not (mainly because it is too young), but I still have hope!

That said, #sourcehut is also really nice, but right now I like public-inbox a bit more. I guess you could combine the two, possibly?
