Solidarity with all the firefighters and farmers who attended the rallies in Melbourne, Morwell, Geelong, Mildura and elsewhere in #Victoria today. The government's new "Emergency Services and Volunteers levy" unfairly targets #farmers and people in regional areas, and isn't to fund NEW #emergency services - it's to cover the black hole in the #budget under the guise of #firefighters and #volunteers and is offensive to everyone for that.

Federal and most provincial #CarbonPricing for consumers is now dead in Canada. Murdered by the simplistic #AxetheTax chorus led by the Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre. Unfortunately many Canadians never did understand the program.
