I am not getting younger. I bicycle a lot, probably 10 months of the year. I cycle for pleasure and to do chores, activities of daily living.
I do a lot of short shopping trips (5-6km) to local stores, even quick trips to my local coffee shop. I live in a small town nicknamed the Valley Town for a reason. Every trip requires a bunch of hills. As I cross into my mid 70s, I realize I won't be able to do that forever. I have been researching ebikes. The #Aventon series gets high marks in most places. Looks particularly good as a cargo bike. Any #Fedi #ebike help in this area would be great.

Since it was raining I spent some time in the garage doing a handlebar upgrade. Went with a bars that are slightly more swept back than the stock Aventon Level 3 bars. I just wanted a little more upright riding position. Pretty easy swap, took about an hour, may have lost one little tiny screw.
I got this bike 12 days ago and just hit 100 miles. If I can keep commuting to work that's about 13 miles each day of riding a bike instead of driving a car.
I printed a MIK adapter and it fits into the rear rack of the Level 3. Aventon will not say the rack is MIK-compatible.
Maybe it's a licensing issue? I've seen them post "Our racks are not labeled for MIK compatibility. For a rack to be 100% compatible, it must have the MIK or MIK HD logo on the rack." So maybe its a wink-wink situation.
Let's just unofficially say you can (probably) use MIK stuff on the rear rack of the Level 3.
Besides the bruised bananas I am chuffed at today's ride to the store and general adventure ride around town, going places I didn't think I could get to by bike. I rode about 13 miles and a little over an hour. The ebike is great for outrunning traffic or getting up those nasty hills. I still go really slow (PAS 1 or turned off) when on the crowded Oak Leaf Trail.
