I tried the Avatar game, Frontiers of Pandora. I’m a few hours in, just found the Hometree. So far it feels very Ubisoft: an open world game in the vein of Far Cry 3 (especially the bow) with simplified parkour from Mirror’s Edge. The world of Pandora looks and sounds very good, but combat feels somewhat anemic at this point. Maybe when I get steady access to explosives, I will be more happy. It is very fun that the map completion bar is an Air Quality Index going from 0 to 100.

Overall, you probably don’t need to play this unless you are suffering from Avatar Withdrawals.
