7 Miss Cook Islands candidates to compete in Avarua, Rarotonga
Tajiya Eikura Sahay of Rarotonga, Cook Islands won Miss Cook Islands 2019 at the Te Are Karioi Nui in Avarua, Rarotonga on October 26, 2019. She competed six other candidates.
Runner-up to Sahay was Emma Kainuku-Walsh of Rarotonga. The second runner-up was Pearl Lazaro of Manihiki, Cook Islands.
Miss Cook Islands 2025 contestants
On October 31, 2025, Sahay will go back to Te Are Karioi Nui where she will crown her successor. It is the 33rd edition of the national beauty pageant also known Maine Kuki Airani.
The titleholder will represent the Cook Islands at Miss World 2026. The country will be represented at Miss International 2025 by the first runner-up and at Miss Grand International 2026 by the second runner-up.
There are seven women competing for the Miss Cook Islands 2025 crown. Here are the candidates:
On October 25, 2018, Teau McKenzie represented the Cook Islands at Miss Grand International 2018 and competed against 74 other candidates at The One Entertainment Park in Yangon, Myanmar. She was unplaced.
On November 9, 2018, Louisa Purea represented the Cook Islands at Miss International 2018 and competed against 76 other candidates at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. She was unplaced.
On December 8, 2018, Reihana Koteka-Wiki represented the Cook Islands at Miss World 2018 and competed against 117 other candidates at the Sanya City Arena in Sanya, China. She finished in the Top 30.
On December 14, 2019, Sahay represented the Cook Islands at Miss World 2019 and competed against 110 other candidates at the ExCeL London in London, England, United Kingdom. She finished in the Top 12 and was crowned Miss World Oceania 2019.
