3/3 closing my #BandcampFriday with some #AvantGardeBlackMetal - Years past Matter by Krallice! Not much to say here I think - I get the impression it's their most well known album. I feel like this is an amazing example of music that sounds like the album cover... it is just somehow the thick impenetrable hot molasses of the early universe (or is it the late universe?). At least that's my interpretation of it.
Here that song with the inscrutinable song title which also seems to be an onomatopoeia for the music

2/3 on the opposite end of the digestible - #unlistenable spectrum is Behold the Arctopus's newest album Interstellar Overtrove. They were always pretty out there, but this one again pushes boundaries big time. It is entirely alien.
I still have to get into it and it will probably take a while (so far only made it through on edibles). It's not on #spotify so that also made it a great purchase.
Youtube just has the whole album as well... let's see how far you make it.

It's #BandcampFriday ! I went for some real #AvantGarde shit and turned it basically into a Colin Marston appreciation day with 3 albums:
1/3 Behold... the Arctopus - Skullgrid
Probably their most digestible / least #unlistenable album
My favorite song of that album is also my favorite song of theirs generally

Now I've Done it - Panache [Avant-Garde Metal, Dark Cabaret] [2025]
#Gorguts Pleiades Dust - a 30min+ #ProgDeath #DissoDeath song - what more do you want? Yet more cinematic and atmospheric than the Colored Sands album (which is my favorite of theirs) and great album/song. Also again really interesting theme with the House of Wisdom (I'll post wiki article into the thread)
