In an autocracy, anything the autocrat wants or sanctions goes. No one is safe. No child, woman or man.

In Ancient Greece this was known and Courage was therefore considered the highest of the 4 Cardinal virtues.
Without Courage, all the others cannot manifest themselves or be defended.
All the freedoms, rights and democracy we have were won only with Courage. We also will not be able to hold on to them without Courage.
In 2007, Putin first showed his ambitions and anti-Western grievances at the #MunichSecurityConference.
18 years later, the US has also taken anti-Western position and communicated it in Munich.
This means the term "Western" has lost its political meaning.
It about defending democracies against autocracies now.
