Ya, know.... every time I manage to nab a younger partner (we're talking 20s, 30s), there's a little doubt that arises in my mind.
"What the hell are they seeing in me???? I'm 51. I'm slightly over the obese line, etc."
Then I slap myself in the face. I'd still bed my ex-wife, who is 71 right now, if we had not divorced.
"Get over it, dude! Those kids are more or less like you are!"
They are able to see past what the NT world calls "imperfections." I did it with my ex-wife. She did it with me. Eventually she couldn't do it anymore.
The same goes with me and my subsequent partners. They don't shame me, and I don't shame them.
(Lest you think it goes only one way. It does go both ways. Some of my partners could have been shamed for their physical features, but I don't care about the site of someone's breasts, or dick size, or what have you. Kindness and affection rule the day!)
For the record, it is not just my ex-wife who is older than me that I'd bed. I've been on a date with a 58-year-old. I've hit on people my age or older. Nothing came out of it. There are multiple factors at play here: older people not being into the same things that I am, failures of the imagination, etc.
