It’s almost the middle of April and I’ve barely noticed that it’s ’Autism Awareness Month’! 😊

It’s so nice to breathe the fresh air of the plains where the mastodon roam rather than the stale air of the blue bird’s sewer 😉

I don't measure time by the clock...

Or the distance between events...

I seem to measure time by the quality of my experience...

Nothing more.

And when I re-experience something ... time collapses. As if there were no time between similar experiences.

When I see a friend after years?

No time has passed. Joy just flows.

When I'm bored? Time stops flowing. Maybe even reverses. It's hell...

Morning sensory disregulation - when I wake up but my brain is still half asleep & my body feels far away and numb.

It takes me a few hours every day to get going.

As a kid I thought more sleep was the answer and sometimes would refuse to get out of bed.
