Something that I am trying to do this year is #explore my own home. Each month I try something new. This month I finally went for a swim at the #beach. I found this rather lovely hidden gem #FingalBeach

I am not going to lie. The reason I ended up choosing it was because of the name. I got to visit #scotland last year but not #FingalCaves so I jumped at the chance to visit this.

And it was glorious. A quiet beach. A beach away from cities and tall buildings. I saw #Terns and baby bush turkeys. The water was insanely clear and the litter leaf Forrest was so much fun to walk through. I saw the #volcanic rock, #australianwildflowers and cook island. I have a list of things to research and write about and can't wait to start.

I'm sunburnt and exhausted but it was so much fun and I already have plans to go back.
