Separation of Duties and other organisational management processes are a ‘cost’. But it exists for the purpose of minimising risks of widespread systematic problems.

In this modern age where business ‘leaders” are tempted to engage in easy ‘cost cutting’ exercises in the name of ‘efficiency’ and ‘productivity’, … it’s worth also remembering that some alleged ‘inefficiencies’ exist for a reason.

Frankly,
Australia needs to stop targetting 'thought-crime' as a criminal matter.
'Thought crimes' should only lead to counselling and deradicalisation programs.

What Australian Intelligence should focus on is monitoring the movement of equipment and materials; and implementing restrictions and controls that make movement more predictable.

It’s disappointing that despite pleas and appeals by the most marginalised and most vulnerable people and their advocates - on how the ban disproportionately hinders their ‘Access to information’, ‘Access to community’, ‘Access to support’ and other ethical/morale arguments - Albanese and Co insisted on this misguided crusade.

The state of Victoria has a long history of police over-reach and has a high level of CCTV cameras per population. Marking the whole CBD as a no-go zone is just horrific. If you're in Melbourne, this needs a protest.
