Es ist 2021 und deutsche Politiker fordern ZĂ€une und Mauern an den Grenzen Europas. Parallel dazu ertrinken seit Jahresbeginn mehr als 1000 Menschen auf der Flucht im Mittelmeer. BLAUFUCHS aus Hildesheim wollen mit dem Song âMauernâ und der begleitenden Kampagne ein Zeichen gegen die Ohnmacht setzen.
Um zu zeigen dass Aktivismus bereits im Kleinen beginnt und groĂe Auswirkungen haben kann, entstand das Musikvideo in Abstimmung mit der Organisation âSea Punksâ und zeichnet die Geschichte um den Bau des Rettungsschiffes âRise Aboveâ nach, das aktuell im Mittelmeer an Rettungsaktionen beteiligt ist.

Das brandneue Video âYOUTHâ von MAINPOINT ist da. Wir freuen uns, euch dieses StĂŒck MAINPOINT-History prĂ€sentieren zu können. Der Song "YOUTH" wird Teil des neuen Albums sein, welches wir vorraussichtlich im nĂ€chsten Jahr veröffentlichen werden. In welcher Form das neue Album erscheinen wird, ist noch nicht klar. Es wird auf jeden Fall ein digitales Single-Release vorab geben. Bleibt gespannt, wir sind es auf jeden Fall.

Mainpoint sind eine an der Ostsee beheimatete GothÂŽn Roll Band. Seit
nunmehr 26 Jahren und 7 veröffentlichten Alben vereint das Quintett alle Highlights aus den Schubladen des Gothic, Metal und Rock zu einem wunderbaren Potpourri dunkler Melodien und und knackigen Gitarrenriffs.
Nach mehr als 700 gespielten Konzerten in Deutschland und dem europĂ€ischen Ausland verfĂŒgt die Band ĂŒber eine gefestigte Live-PrĂ€senz und Publikumswirksamkeit. Zu den Highlights zĂ€hlten Support-Shows fĂŒr Saxon, Tiamat, Hatesphere, In Extremo sowie zahlreiche groĂe und kleine Festivalauftritte wie z.B dem Wave Gothic Treffen (WGT) in Leipzig. Mainpoint haben sich so eine stetig wachsende und treue Fangemeinde erspielt. Nicht zuletzt, weil man als Zuschauer von der Spielfreude der Band mitgerissen wird.
Die CD-Veröffentlichungen âUnder Waterâ 2007, sowie âBlack Travellerâ 2012 wurden ĂŒber Dritte Wahl Records/ Indigo veröffentlicht. Nach zahlreichen Konzerten in DĂ€nemark, Polen und Deutschland beging die Band 2016 ihr 20 jĂ€hriges JubilĂ€um mit einer Doppel-CD-Veröffentlichung.
2016 grĂŒndete man das eigene Label MAINPOINT Records.
Mit diesem ist die Band nun unabhÀngiger im weltweiten Vertrieb der eigenen Ideen.
