John AutryTexas music legend Augie Meyers has died. In the 60s Meyers was a co-founder with Doug Sahm of the Sir Douglas Quintet. In the 90s he formed the Texas Tornadoes with Sahm, Freddy Fender and Flaco Jiménez. Meyers was 85.

Great collection including probably their best known song “She’s About a Mover” and “Dynamite Woman.”
My copy via a private sale – from Precision Record Pressing (I assume there was only one pressing of this version).
