Finland has a national instrument: the kantele. While in modern times there exist electronic versions of the instrument and it is used in metal and pop, Nest is an homage to the traditional use of the instrument. Trail of the Unwary is a fantasy journey through isolated lands; one can’t help but think of misty forests and streams. What few vocal parts exist emphasize nature and survival. The kantele as Nest wields it is is unhurried, unceasing, and beautiful.
