Corymbia ficifolia is commonly known as the #redfloweringgum.

It is a species of small tree that is endemic to the south-west of Western Australia.

This one was teeming with #bees and shining brightly in the evening sun during a catch-up coffee with a good friend in #StkildaEast #Australia.

We all scoffed lamingtons, which are a delight to eat on this #AustraliaDay.

#Atltext - I’d suggest there’s a few thousand individual pastel square tiles, covering about 3 x 2 metres of wall space, each about 6-7mm in size consisting of differing light colours, depicting a slim middle aged woman in a swim suit leaning, poolside looking at the ‘camera’, smiling happily. She’s in a good place and happy. Her large brim sun hat is just gorgeous.
