Many #ThursdayFiveList posts for #AtTheHeartOfIt with Blondie's Heart of Glass.

I have to pay tribute to whoever added the couple of small time signature changes to the song. The first few times around the instrumental melody, they drop in a bar of 3/4 right before the melody circles around again. This has the effect of pushing the melody on one beat earlier, giving a slight edge to the song.

Later it resolves and repeats, with backing vocals, into 4/4 all the way. Genius.
