The Taurus ingress has arrived with extra spice via a triple conjunction of Mercury, Mars, and Saturn in Aries. Taurus likes things to be cozy and comfortable, but that pile-up in Aries on the heels of a potentially abrasive New Moon conjoining Chiron/Eris in Aries and square Eros in Cancer might be anything but comfortable. These transits test our mettle and wake us up to who we really are when the chips are down.

Jupiter is currently stationing direct in Cancer while separating from a trine with Mercury retrograde in Pisces. Since Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces, Mercury is answering to Jupiter, so the themes of both planets are being amplified now.

Mercury won't station direct until the 20th, and then there's still the post-retrograde shadow to wade through.

Meanwhile, our thinking remains potentially water-logged in emotions unless we stay adaptable. We may find ourselves dog-paddling through rising waters in our communications and business-dealings, especially with Mars applying to the North Node and Mercury in Pisces.

Uranus has been stationing direct in Taurus today, bringing to the forefront themes of disruption, liberation, and the sudden awareness that shocks us awake.

This month's astrological weather is all about much-needed change.

February brings three planetary stations among the major planets and goddess asteroids:

February 3rd: Uranus stationary direct in Taurus
February 13rd: Hygeia stationary direct in Gemini
February 25th: Mercury stationary retrograde in Pisces
