This drawing is another in a series of drawings based on astrological transits, in this case the current Mercury retrograde from Sagittarius back into Scorpio. Today Mercury makes the second of three conjunctions with the Sun in this retrograde season, encouraging our focus and ability to logically assess our feelings and how we are exerting our willpower.

The sigil in the eye of the mask directs us to "Examine Truth," reflecting the Sagittarius leg of Mercury's retrograde journey and its emphasis on reconsidering our beliefs.

I created this drawing around the Solar eclipse in Virgo on September 21st. The eclipse was opposing Saturn in Pisces with the TNO Arawn at the Point of Thales to that opposition.
