Asteanic Empire - the land of great bureaucracy.
Asteanic Empire - the land of great bureaucracy.
This post is an example of how Trade Regions are depicted in the SAKE Full Book.
Each of the 12 Trade Regions covered in the book will have similar pages, including:
Base stats.
Description of the trade goods of the region and a small random table when pirating them.
General description of the region.
Map of the region.
Something else of interest in the region, such as the Mist for Tauric region.
Making all those Kickstarter pits and pieces got boring, so finished the translation of the Short History of Asteanic World.
Started modelling some Asteanic Plate Armour for the Equipment chapter illustration and of course, Asteanic Plate will have nipples made of gold with piercings :D
The war mask was uncomfortable to model - CAD programs really aren't meant for organic forms - but I think it looks OK enough for now.
Starting to take shape - the second floor of tower castle. Only six to go, ugh...
Also, the thing from starting from a 2d map, is that some things don't add up, I tried to make it as precise as possible because I saw that one day I may try to make it into 3d, but still, there are some places...
And that's enough with this scene - ready! Always could be better, but its important to not forget the end-goal, which is Kickstarter video, and that is just part of it. So, to the next scenes!

That took too long time to render for not to show it right away. Also, the small boy inside me is very pleased!
Also, the Kickstarter for what I am preparing this animation:

This ship sails under the flag of the great house la Vookan - vice emperors of the North, suzerains of the grand city Ehnaiton - the Holy City of Maat, the Star of the North.
Light Thefna'n Galley - the future poster-boy of SAKE Economics module is evolving.
Haven't used Rhinoceros for animation, but may look into it, because the guy could do its first show in the Kickstarter video, which I anyway have to animate.
Anyway, subscribe to Kickstarter and all: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1710384861/sake-sorcerers-adventures-kings-and-economics-rulebook
