This lightly oaked Assyrtiko from very old vines is super today. Ripe but perfectly balanced, it's fresh and deep, tastes great, has gorgeous fruit and a lively demeanor to lift the fruit. It's a beauty from ancient, centenarian vines. See pic #2

Age allowed it to blossom while remaining completely youthful. It has pulled in the wood, which seems to provide texture and not get in the way even a little. It is still young; lots of time left!

At 15+, this has evolved beautifully and it's holding great. It's deep and has some power, but most of all, this sports great fruit and a surprising burst of flavor. It's a fine performance, big and ripe (14.2%) with a mouth-coating feel and saline end.

This needed (and sure has benefited from) some age. Who knows how much longer it lasts. It doesn't seem in any imminent danger, but this is a good time to dive in.
