I got an early birthday gift :)
My partner got me an entry level racing wheel for my birthday. I'm having a lot of fun with it! I've been playing some BeamNG.drive and doing some emulated PS3 games. I decided to try it in cyberpunk too and it just works! I tried it with Redout, too, great time but my goodness that game is hard. It's possible I'm stupid, but I couldn't get it working with Assetto Corsa so that game is still sitting in my library unplayed. I'm gonna try to get it set up with XEMU, and maybe eventually I'll […]So I got the game modded and it boots/plays but my Logitech G27 wheel, which is natively supported by the PS3, doesn't want to work with Rpcs3, I will try to fiddle with it more when I'm in the mood
All that said I turned a healthy amount of laps in #assettocorsa and appear to be close to being pace with my previous personal best laps
Woot, found another corner (Schwedenkreuz) in the green hell that the mx5 cup can take flat out :3
I learnt that driving on the road is faster than on the grass!
No idea how I got my fastest time for today making so many mistakes.
Over the last half year I supported Cimmerian_Iter on the remaster of #CTDP F1 2006 for #AssettoCorsa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJEj3FfKLmA is a nice gamemplay video and they butcher the CTDP name twice in the first 2 minutes 😆
CTDP was actually considering renaming a few times, but eventually around 2007 it was just too established and no name we came up with clicked with us. So it just stayed, even though you get "Certified Training and Development Professional" when googling these days. 😆
