We were able to get four nights on an electric site at Assateague Isand State Park in Maryland this week. Within an hour, the ponies showed up.

Knowledge Zone#Assateague Island is a 37-mile (60 km) long barrier island located off the eastern coast of the Delmarva Peninsula facing the Atlantic Ocean. The northern two-thirds of the island is in Maryland, and the southern third is in Virginia.
Assateague Island is steadily, relentlessly losing mass at its north end (near Ocean City, Maryland) and gaining it on the south end near Tom’s Cove.
