Deze week: zwemles heeft ze als kind nooit gehad, waarna Asja (44) angst kreeg om in het diepe te zwemmen. Twee jaar geleden besloot ze om toch op zwemles te gaan en haar angst te overwinnen. "Altijd verzon ik smoesjes om niet te zwemmen."

Got to the gym for spin. It was challenging! An hour and a half later and my face is still alarmingly (to folks who don't know me) red. I have a ton of little things on my schedule #today, which is good because the day is oddly broken. I've had about 30 minutes to work, next an #ASJA chapter meeting, then an hour to work, then I'm going to pick my favorite 5-almost-6 year old up at school. It's our weekly dinner date night with her!

The American Society of Journalists & Authors (#ASJA) conducts #freelance #writing #awards annually, and they are now open - to members and non-members. Submissions are open now, and there are LOTS of categories to consider. We're looking for judges, too. Judging is inspiring and isn't terribly time consuming.
