I am not deeply knowledgeable about South Asian food, but I do like it and eat it reasonably often. One of our favorites is Spice Room (Arvada and Denver).

Especially good there are the date naan, flat bread stuffed with date paste (what could be bad?) and the onion bhaji, think of onion rings with way more flavor. But everything we've had there is great, as is the service.
