A powerful letter against UC Berkeley's unconscionable cancellation of the film My Sweet Land —which documents the Artsakh Genocide from the perspective of a boy—was sent by Assemblymember John Harabedian, State Senator Sasha Renée Pérez, Assemblymember Jessica Caloza, Assemblymember Nick Schultz, and Assemblymember David J Tangipa, and it asks for answers to some serious questions.
The proper remediation is the screening of this film at Berkeley's largest facility, with the responsible administrators, and others, seeing the film, after reading Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention's report on the Artsakh Genocide: https://www.lemkininstitute.com/_files/ugd/9bc553_2e3babd9d7834d7fbcfa262f88c9fa74.pdf
