Here's WTF happened last week:
1️⃣ Creative Australia withdrew its invitation to artist Khaled Sabsabi to represent Australia at the Venice Biennale 2026 following political concerns about the subject matter of Sabsabi's past work. The situation casts a shadow over arms-length arts funding and the credibility of the arts funding agency.
