Looking at the date on the Google Maps, I think I was thinking about Covid but it could easily apply in a more metaphorical sense to a government which condones genocide or one which is dead before its time.

A High Priest - mathematician economist - visits the Temple of Light (The Federal Reserve) - to seek guidance from the gods of finance - bringing a baby to sacrifice in an arcane ritual - to return with more obfuscating nonsense to seduce politicians and markets.

Visually - all fascistic references are totally intentional.
