Dance Macabre

Just found this doing some more house-keeping.

Caught on Google Street View.

Looking at the date on the Google Maps, I think I was thinking about Covid but it could easily apply in a more metaphorical sense to a government which condones genocide or one which is dead before its time.

A new Blood Libel

A nightmare scenario rather than a dream image.

If the essentialist, identitarian morons have their way, the nazis have won, did win.

I do not want to pick my side, tick only one box, take a label as a badge ...
Much less have it picked for me.
By anyone.

Be Prepared

Could've done with less "our thoughts and prayers ..." crap and more investment and resilience.
A week after Goretti we had no leccy or internet and lanes still blocked.

Solar-powered wind-up radio.

Plug them into government, defence, healthcare, everything - what could go wrong?
Well - there'd be nothing to listen to.

I shouldn't have watched Novara Media's Michael Walker and Aaron Bastani discussing the existential threat posed by agentic AI.

The Temple of Light

A High Priest - mathematician economist - visits the Temple of Light (The Federal Reserve) - to seek guidance from the gods of finance - bringing a baby to sacrifice in an arcane ritual - to return with more obfuscating nonsense to seduce politicians and markets.

Visually - all fascistic references are totally intentional.

Art moves people and touches their hearts. Politics aims to improve people’s lives.

Artists try to connect with others and make the world better through aesthetics and truth.

Politicians, in the true sense of the word, work for the common good and want to improve the world as well.

Norman Rockwell’s granddaughter, Daisy, vehemently denies that his iconic, nostalgic art supports conservatism or segregation. Recent DHS posts used his work to promote a divisive vision of America, which Daisy argues misrepresents his anti-segregationist stance. The family publicly rebuked DHS, emphasizing Rockwell’s commitment to equality and fighting prejudice. This controversy highlights how political groups repurpose art to serve their narratives, even when the artist’s own views stood against such misuse.
