486958 #Arrokoth is a small Kuiper Belt object (KBO) in the outer solar system and the most distant object ever explored by a spacecraft. It was visited by NASA's New Horizons probe on January 1, 2019.

The exploration of Arrokoth was a crucial part of the New Horizons mission after its historic 2015 flyby of Pluto.

Arrokoth is a vanilla-compatible episode PWAD for Doom, designed by Chris Kendell (Somniac) and released in June 2023. The levels are set on 486958 Arrokoth, a celestial object found at the fringes of the Solar System.

@mdhughes It occurs to me that #NaughtyDog were a #commonLisp company who wrote a #gameDev #scheme dialect. Did you think about that viz #Arrokoth and its game-creation-language ? Was it already intended to be a scheme? Do you have a piece of history I'm missing about Crash Bandicoot schemes?
