Ok first real like “every day life post” in a long while. This last weekend I went to NorCal Hobbies in San Jose to use their indoor carpet track for the first time in YEARS. Met up with some other fur friends there and honestly I had a great time. I mostly ran my olllllld LCG RWD Traxxas Slash but I also picked up an Arrma Mini Kraton and man what a fun little truck.

Was a good and tiring day. Was nice to know I still had SOME skill on the track after being away from it so long. I also didn’t expect to like running Carpet, but it was fun. I’m moving soon so I don’t know if I’ll be able to go back again but yesterday reminded me how much I enjoy this hobby!

Vybral jsem synovi parádní auto na dálkové ovládání, původně jsem chtěl koupit nějakou no name Čínu, ale nakonec volba padla na Arrma Mojave Grom, neboť Arrma k tomu prodává všechny díly samostatně a opravitelnost vnímám jako větší hodnotu než hrubý výkon. 🧐

Po první půl hodině jízdy se servo motoru vychýlil střed tak moc, že ani maximální trim to nesrovnal. Po dvou hodinách ježdění se po zatočení kola nevrátila ani o kousek a servo už jen křupe. 🤔

Počítal jsem s tím, že je jen otázka času, než se něco rozbije a až se to stane, že koupím aftermerket díl vyšší kvality, než je původní. Ale že to servo odejde po půl hodině, to mě zaskočilo. 🥺

No nic, už je na cestě aftermarket servo a nastavitelný servo saver (původní servo má na hřídeli 20 zubů, aftermarket servo 25, takže původní servo saver nepasuje) v ceně přibližně třetiny celého RTR setu. 😓

Doufám, že teď bude na dlouho klid a další co bude potřeba koupit budou až pneumatiky, až se ojezdí do hladka. 😬
