royalI visited Crystal City (in Arlington VA) about a year ago, and at time the underground Crystal City Shops was almost, but not quite, abandoned. (Most storefronts were closed but a few low-profile ones persisted.)

#ArlingtonVA county board wants to close our local community center so they can give more money to the cops. The move would shut our neighbors out of affordable gymnastics programs, recreational and league access to basketball and tennis courts and baseball fields, and other vital programs.
I’d really rather they didn’t do that.
