Send Postcards to Unregistered Voters! Daytime & nighttime events! · Mobilize

This is a highly effective way to get someone ultimately to vote. There are hundreds of thousands of potential voters we need to convince to register first! Doing our work nationally helps us win control of the U.S. Senate and House now! We have good work to do between now and the midterms. We might as well have a great time together doing it. So, let’s get to it and expand our community! If you can afford postcard stamps, please bring them! If you can bring some extra stamps, we’d sure appreciate it! If you don’t have time to go to the post office, but can afford them, just bring money for the stamps and we’ll get them for you afterwards. Please come even if your budget doesn’t have room for stamps. We’ve got you! Good food and drink available for purchase. *A core principle behind all Desert Democracy events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.*
